Thank you Post Office Ltd!
The donations that have been made are going to be sent to Syria Relief, a Manchester based charity that runs regular convoys out to areas in need. We have had a fantastic offer from Post Office Ltd which will see them donate a 20t truck to transport almost 1,000 boxes of items on Thursday 17th September.
We are looking for volunteers to help load the truck from 9am on Thursday morning. Come along to the Carlile Institute if you are able to assist.
About Syria Relief
You can get lots of information about Syria Relief from their website: https://www.syriarelief.org.uk/refugee-crisis-appeal/. Your donations will go to help those in need quickly and directly. The convoys leave regularly, and will be filmed by the charity.
