Our aim is to become a hub of activity within Meltham, we do what we do to have a positive impact on the lives and wellbeing of the residents of the Township of Meltham - that includes Helme, Meltham and Wilshaw. There are a number of ways in which you can get involved in what is going on at the Carlile Community Hub, below are just a few. Join the Carlile Support Group

The Carlile Support Group is the community owned and managed group which manage the community space within the Carlile Community Hub. It meets monthly. It's main roles are to facilitate and encourage use of the facilities within the Carlile Community Hub. There is a huge opportunity for this to be developed over the coming months and years now that the building has been fully refurbished.

Volunteer at the Library

Meltham Library is staffed for 23 hours a week. During that time it is supported by volunteers who assist the Kirklees Library staff to deliver the service. They are always looking for new volunteers to develop and support the service.
