Theatre comes to The Carlile
We are delighted to announce that the remainder of our 2019 programme will be supported with a grant from the Arts Council, underlining the Carlile’s importance as a theatre venue and helping us to attract new theatre goers.
Saturday, June 15, we bring puppet theatre to the Carlile with Cusan Theatre’s production of The Princess of the Rain Forest and this will be combined with a workshop to encourage our younger audience to discover more. http://www.cusantheatre.com/
Arts Council funding has allowed us to offer early-bird prices: £5 for Adults, £2 for Seniors and free for students and accompanied children. Prices after the end of April for Miss Wong will be £10 or £8 concessions. As ever, these will be available from The Flower Box, Café 33 or by contacting 07587 709747
Local music promoter True North Music hosts regular concerts at the Carlile Institute, featuring the very best in bluegrass, Americana and folk/roots music. True North Music won the Yorkshire Gig Guide’s Outstanding Promoter Award in 2017. Visit True North Music’s website to find out what’s coming up!
